Thanks, Steve. Voluntary stuttering has a place in therapy. It is a way to practice a controlled,easy way of 'stuttering' that lacks the tension of your real stuttering. Also, it serves to 'advertise' your stuttering and tends to reduce your anxiety because you are confronting your problem head on rather than trying to hide it. You are doing the thing you fear, and this is guaranteed to reduce that fear. Thanks for your question!
