Thanks for your comments, Katelyn. No, I have no idea how often thes "unplanned events" occur, Pretty rarely, I think. I once had a stuttering student who became quite fluent, and she said it weas due to her learning an inner peace and serenity, an acceptance of the happenings of life like stuttering. She had learned how to "let go" and stop struggling,and so became naturally more fluent. I told her jokingly not to spread the word too much or she would throw too many stuttering therapists out of a job! I told her it was great, and keep it up!
