Hello Dr. Williams, Let me preface that I, like everyone else, really enjoyed your article. It points out all the facts that seem common sense, yet we still look for the "Be all, End all method" but how can there be just one when there are so many different aspects of stuttering that one may exhibit? I completely agree that therapy takes time and you need to continue to work on your behaviors in order to change them. However, I just recently read an article by Laiho & Klippi (2007), discussing intensive therapy. Here you have 2 two-week intensive sessions and then your done. What are your feelings on this type of therapy? Do you think this is a attempt at a quick "dose of medicine" for stuttering? Look forward to hearing your response, Thank you Kristina
