This article is great. I wish I had some tools like this when I was younger. Even now, as an adult, I often resist "slow rate" or slowing down, because I feel it makes me sound un-natural. I am naturally a fast talker. I do slow it down some when I am giving a speech at Toastmasters, so I know I can do it. It makes a lot of sense to have it explained to kids in analagies they can understand. --Pam
