Hi Michael -- Thanks for the post! Great question -- that's 3 generalization questions in a row ;-) I probably should have written about this in the article ;-) And yes, it's a very good point. I think that ensuring that we're targeting a sustainable goal helps with generalization. If we ask the child to do something he doesn't want to do, it'll never happen outside of therapy. (This is true for older kids and adults as well...) Thanks again! S
