You make speech therapy so easy, Scott. Children do understand and can explain so much. I've talked about stuttering to 15 classes of children between 6 and 12 and if you only find "their" language, they understand what you're saying. (I even got them to think stuttering was cool and got two of them wanting to stutter! :-) But I also got two of them to tell me they stutter, although the teachers told me there were no stuttering children in these classes...) And I must thank you for your online involvement in the fluency symposium in Belgium early this year. After listening to researchers for two days, hearing them tell the audience about the things we cannot do and sometimes even telling SLP students warning them for working with PWS, you suddenly came online giving them a message: "If you want to get inside a PWS head, join the self-help movement."
