I found this article to be very interesting and the research to be a great step forward for Kuwait to obtain valuable information about stuttering, especially looking into the emotions of people who stutter. What I thought was shocking was when the article stated the literacy rate in Kuwait is 93% due to widespread government support in the educational system, yet there are still limited resources and SLPs available in the educational system. What is the reason or why do you think that communication disorders’, particularly stuttering, is neglected in Kuwait even though government support for education is higher in other areas? Thank you!
