Thank you for your interesting question. We did ask the participants to indicate if they had taught a PWS with the intention of carrying further analyses to see if their perceptions were different (more positive)than teachers who had not taught a PWS. Although we did not address this question directly in the posted study we hope to pursue it in future research. My hunch is that the two groups of teachers were probably similar in their responses ...given that in the paper we report a high percentage of teachers (46 out of 52 teachers or 88%) who had taught a PWS at some point in their career.
