On the afternoon of the 20th of October there was an hour long programme about stuttering on the main national TV channel, HTV1. There were four guests: Suzana Jelčić Jakšić (a SLT, a PWS and a Chair od the Accotiatin "Hinko Freund"), Edo Orecic (a parent of a child who stutters), Nenad Starc (a professor of economics who stutters) and Milivoj Jovancevic (a professor of paediatrics). Having a whole hour devoted to stuttering allowed the panel to give detailed and considered responses to the interviewer. They also answered questions from people who phoned in. The following day Suzana Jelčić Jakšić appeared for twenty minutes on the breakfast show, Good Morning Croatia, to discuss various aspects of stuttering. A press release, sent out by the Croatian Association for People Who Stutter "Hinko Freund" was published and commented on in all the main daily newspapers and websites in Croatia.
