....That's the question. Anita, another very true and recognisable story there. I've had lots of fear because of my stuttering in the past. Avoiding most situations in which I had to talk to people, especially when those people were new to me. Searching for options to avoid the talking, although those options most of time would take up much more time then when I would have gone there and just stuttered. I didn't make much friends because I was afraid of the first reaction when I would have to say my own name, didn't merge with others at school or other places, and for sure didn't start to get into contact with girls. what if I stutter ..... I'm just very happy now that I'm on the way of overcoming that fear for a couple of years now. Probably for a big part by excerses like in your story. Expanding my comfort zones and most important, speak...speak...speak! Thank you for the article and thank you for beeing part of my life. Although I was already on the way, the Elsa meeting in 2003 has opened my eyes for sure! I'm not there yet, but I'l get there. And you're my biggest example!
