Hi! My name is Hila and I am an NYU Graduate students going for Speech-Language Pathology. I am interested in learning more about the stuttering field. I had an opportunity to observe a group therapy session of teenagers that stutter. It was an amazing experience. In your article you stated that the “support of family and friends (perhaps in a stuttering support group) can make a big difference”. Did you ever partake in group therapy sessions for stutterers? If yes, did it have an affect on you over the years? As a stutterer with your experience do you feel a group therapy session is worth while? Do you see a long term benefit of group therapy sessions or is one on one therapy more beneficial? I would love to here your opinion on this matter. Hila
