Hi Hila. Thanks for your interest in stuttering We need people like you! I've tried group therapy, but the best group therapy to me is to join the stuttering movement. To see other people who stutter have great lives, enjoy life, give support and do things together with, being amongst people where you don't have to explain. That's why I prefer to call them support groups and not sef-help groups. On the other hand: there is nothing that works for all. So some people would love group therapy, to work with others and see how they do it, while others want to have the whole attention, the whole training session for themselves. I like the mixture of both. To sometimes get the 1-1 attention and be able to ask questions, while at other times, it's great fun to work as a team. You can work together also after therapy sessions and support each other not to give up. So you might like to provide both ways and see what fits that very client. What I've been missing so far is therapy sessions with a friend present, so that, when you left the therapy room, your friend can help you to continue to practice. Thanks again for your interesting question. Don't hesitate to ask any other question you like, as this is the perfect situation to ask questions to PWS who are not your clients. Happy ISAD! Anita
