Thanks for you honesty, Mollie! You were afraid of doing it, but instead you learned something that we face 16 hours a day, every day! You can just walk away, but we can't. That's why we need to be strong and face the fear, as other options are way too dreadful! To us, every meeting with another person is like public speaking! So next time, don't focus on your stuttering speech. Focus instead on the reactions from people and the reaction of the person you're doing this with. As you're learning, the person you talk to might hear stuttering for the first time, so before you walk away, you might like to ask how it felt for him/her and explain about stuttering, and you can give the client a feeling of friendship (and maybe a good laugh :-) ). You can never imagine what it's like, or even tell the client to do things like that, if you haven't even tried it or are afraid to do so yourself. I'm so proud of you doing the assignment and I hope you'll continue doing this together with your clients. You're going to be a great SLP! Happy ISAD! Anita
