dear Lori As I put it in my article, meditation is not to help us to overcome stuttering but to learn more about ourselves. The help to PWS is a by-product of the mindfulness process. As i said, i first did Zen, then changed to Vipassana, which is actually the basis of MBSR. From the experience I have I would recommend MBSR for PWS who wish to see how mindfullness affects stuttering. For spiritual seekers I would recommend Zen or Vipassana, or similar techniques, e.g. as the one i cited, taught by Toni Packer.
