I am currently a grad student at CSUN in communication disorders. I found your article to very helpful to my field of study, but also on a personal level. I am a person who suffers from anxiety/panic attacks and I can relate to the notion of always worrying about what will happen in the future, as people who stutter often do. I think trying to focus your mind on the present is a great technique to teach PWS, or even people that suffer from other communication disorders. I will keep meditation in mind as something I can suggest to my clients in therapy that have a lot of anxieties and fears associated with stuttering.
