Your story is poignant and honest. But your questions provoke thought and reflection. And reminds me of a wonderful children's book (which is also great for adults) called "The Three Questions" writtend and illustrated by John J Muth. It is based on a story by Leo Tolstoy. The questions the boy in the story wants to know are: when is the best time to do things? Who is the most important one? What is the right thing to do? And the answers of course are based on the who, what, where, and whys in our lives at that given time. For so long, I thought my stuttering defined me as flawed. I let other people's opinions of me shape me. Now I understand that we are complex and that we are all flawed in some way. Its how we define ourselves that really matters. Thanks Tom for sharing your story of you!
