First, I want to thank you for giving us, the readers, the opportunity to learn from your story. Second, I want to say how bad I feel about how our society keep holding back talented people as you back for their dreams. I also want to ask a few questions. You remember your first grade speech teacher as a very helpful person. What makes that experience a very special one? Do you remember any special technique the she was trying to use or what was exactly that you liked about that experience? And you as a professional what can recommend us, students in the field of speech pathology, about the characteristics that a clinician must have to really touch our clients hearts? Thanks!
