Thanks for your encouragement, Ruth. Oddly enough I think it frustrates me more that my hearing loss effects my piano tuning skills than rejection by speech and hearing folks. Perhaps that's a little more like stuttering in that somehow I think I should have control over it whereas I see the actions of other provessionals as something over which I have no real control.
