Coleen, you guys have asked me some really great questions. I've never thought about how far back the stuttering in my head goes but now that you ask, I don't think that was going on when I was a kid. I don't really remember any internal stuttering for me until I was in high school. When I'm on the radio or doing something similar that requires immediate and good speech objectively it almost feels like my words are bottled up and can't find the way out or the order to come out in. I have to actively order my words and almost guide them out and that just takes longer than "normal" speech and sometimes I end up not saying things exactly the way I'd have liked to.
