I'm so glad that you wrote about using visual feedback so the speaker can actually see what he is doing with his voice. You told me about audacity a while ago and I often use it or Garage Band, a Mac program. Just before I joined the conference, I had a session with an 8 year old boy. He was learning to speak by focusing on the intonation (connected syllables) of his voice. Using audacity, he was able to see as well as sense how to make his voice continue. It is a great tool. Thanks for bringing it to the attention of all.
