Wow, thanks for all that important feedback. Stuttering is really emotional, at all ages, and it sounds like as an SLP that you really get that. Please be sure to read my paper on here as well, about things I learned in therapy. It has been such an incredible journey for me, and being public, like doing podcasts and youtubes, is enormously helpful.Maybe your clients might feel better about seeing themselves on video if they initiated it - rather then the clinician pointing something out to them. I have done a few videos as well, talking about how it feels to stutter, or block, or get negative social reactions. I would love for you to visit my blog and share andleave comments if you widh. There may be some stories that you may wish to share with some of yuor clients. My blog address is in my article. I don't think Judy wants us actively publicizing our websites, but what the heck. Its good stuff (www.stutterrockstar.wordpress.com) It's JUST about feelings and attitudes. I try to reflect on just about every aspect of my stuttering experience. It helps me, ansd I think it helps others. Again, thanks for the very thoughtful response. And if you need any help with Audacity, give me a shout. Its really easy. Just remember to export your files to mp3, so you can play them back! Pam
