Hello Judy, and this time I was the one that thought about your comment for few days. The idea of Computer therapy is a something that you, as an experience therapist, would have the vision if it will get some achievement or not. I am not yet there, but I somehow see a potential in it. At this point I can only explain some further about audio software. As a hobby, I am producing music (okay,”trying” to produce music.) I am using audio software that allows you to record a signal (voice for example) and apply on it (both stored and live) : 1) Reverb: means, the sound is being reflected, like you are talking in big room, or a hall, or a small room. You can manipulate it, so related to our discussion, with the visual (let say a video of you, watching 50 people and suppose to make a speech or say something) that will be made on the screen, the patient will speak to a microphone, you can push Reverb button and the effect will be like he/she speaking in a hall (or else). 2) echo: sound is bouncing back, after few mm seconds (to even few seconds). It gives the effect like you are speaking in the open field with mountains. You shout, and your voice is coming back after a second or two. 3) pitch modulation- keeping/changing pitch of the sound. You can make any voice to be more male-like, for example, or whatever you want, regarding pitch. Well, it is interesting if you think there is a place for that in Speech therapy. Jeremy
