Hi Alan, I just love your phrase "strength to strength." I will keep that in mind. Sometimes, I think we need to search for that proof of strength in real time. Frankly, I find it easier to see in hindsight, when I can look back and say, "Ah yes, I made a strong choice when...". :) As an SLP, I must find that strength within the student and point it out to him/her at every session. It seems to me that technology helps us for only part of the stuttering puzzle thus far. I've always valued your suggestions related to expanding comfort zones and so on. I show your ISAD articles addressed to children to all of my students. Thank you for all you do. Judy :)
