Christina, Thank you for your creative idea! I don't have any experience with autism, so I'm sorry I do not know how to answer your question. I recently worked 2 years with a preschooler who was eventually diagnosed with Asperger's. I found his reluctance to take direction (and other issues) prevented him from enjoying a very simple preschool level Blue's Clues early literacy computer game. All of my activities had to be tailored to his interests from moment to moment. His improved fluency and new diagnosis meant he could move on to another more appropropriate professional. I wish you all the best in your work with students with autistic spectrum issues. Judy :)
