Hi Kristy, I tried the program with 2 second graders and it did not interest them like it did "Marcus." I think this was partly because they were too young. At the simple level I used Audacity, I think even if a child just enjoyed talking into the mic while the SLP did the mechanics of recording, it could still be fun and productive. As the clinician, we are always be making educated guesses as to what is appropriate for a given client. We have to risk failure for the sake of discovering what works, IMHO. Even when we think we have "failed," sometimes we've actually stumbled upon new teaching moments. Good luck! Judy :)
