Hatty: You are in a field of study that while difficult also has great rewards. You will helping people learn how to communicate with less stress, whether it be from stuttering, a stroke, accidents, etc. People have innate desire to communicate with others, so when it is hindered frustration levels increase greatly. Your classes and projects will help you learn how teach someone ways to communicate again. Over time your name may fade into the sunset, but your face will stick with your clients until they fade into the sunset. You and your fellow students are to be lauded for your efforts, I don't have the courage to do what each of you do every day. For that I thank all of you for myself and your future clients.
