Nicole: My mother wasn't near as bad as my grandmothers were. Her biggest thing was my "anti-social" traits, and her fear that I would never find someone who could tolerate it. My father was always completely supportive of me which is why I got my first motorcycle at the age of 8 (mom wasn't too happy). I'm not sure if I would have been more comfortable with people no matter who was on my side. Even from my earliest years, I tended to avoid people (before I began to talk). My "anti-social" traits is just as much a part of me as my stuttering is, I can't change either one.
