Karissa: My first speech therapist was older than dinosaurs when I was in it, so I'm sure she is long gone now. The ones from the clinic in Denver is anybody's guess. The four student SLP's that I had at NMSU helped me quite a bit and we did have "exit interviews" just before they left school. I did tell them that they changed my whole outlook on my speech. I still didn't like the fact that I stuttered, but learned to accept it as a part of me, and that helped my "self-worth" quite a bit.
