Bobby, I admire your honesty, humor and success. Though I do not mean to offend you by saying "humor", I was reading your story as well as your comments while sitting in class and there were a few times that I found myself having to contain my laughter. You have a great personality and wit that others yearn for. Not only was this article a joy to read, it was also very informative and useful for my future as an SLP. I believe that the clients and clinicians should have a "friend" relationship as well. It makes the entire process easier for both parties. Congratulations on your success in therapy. Can you explain the reason(If known) for the lack of stuttering with your patients and the sudden onset once you were with your partners/police? Thank you for the great advise!
