Bobby, Your story is truly inspirational!! As I study to become a SLP, I realize more and more that the client’s personality is a very large factor when treating them. As I read your story I was continuously surprised by your strength and open mindedness to go back to therapy after having those previous experiences. It is somewhat alarming to hear about how people viewed stutters back then, and at the same time I am happy that the views of “PWS” have changed. Do you feel like the obstacles you were faced with and have overcome have shaped you to be a different person today? Thanks for sharing your story as well as giving very useful advice to us students!!! - Heather
