Heather: Every event that occurs in a person's life tends to shape them somewhat. How they are shaped depends on the individual and their perspective on life in general. Many people have told me during this online conference that they felt I had dealt with a lot of negativity over the years. I don't see some of the events in my life as negative, only obstacles to overcome. Everyone has challenges, you can either face them and live life, or avoid them and survive. I prefer to live life. My internal "makeup" forces me to not give up, so the obstacles I've encountered over the years has shaped me into the person I am today. If I didn't stutter would I be the same person, probably not, but I don't really know.
