Thank you for taking the time to write out a story that has its fair share of frustration and pain. Your story seems to suggest that a certain maturity level needs to exist in order to make meaningful progress. Would you agree with this? What are your thoughts on a 28 yr. old male who is in therapy for his stuttering and laughs when he is confronted upon stuttering. He obviously has trouble connecting with the "iceberg" of feelings beneath the surface, a skill that often comes with time.
