It must have been very embarrassing to have to sit back down in class and not be able to present your name on the first day of class. In the beginning of your article, do you think that you and your parents would have benefited from knowing more about stuttering and how it could be treated? It seems at points you where willing for therapy but never where able to stick it out as a kid. Do you think that this had to do with your parents and grand parents looking down upon your problem?
