Thank you very much, Bobby. It is the largest goal of mine, as is many SLPs to make an impact in someone’s life. I am so glad you got to experience a clinician really caring about you after the bad experiences you had in the past; they wanted to help you, only the stutter. Thank you for showing us student clinicians that we really can make such a difference in someone’s life. I also read your previous responses. Yes, the past did shape our present, but that is not the way our life has to be forever played out. It is important to focus on the future; to focus on how can I make things better today? What can I do to make things that much better tomorrow reflecting on what I have learned from my previous experiences? I think you have done an excellent job of illustrating this point through sharing your experiences with us. Thank you.
