Reading fromprepared material always gives me the most trouble - if someone else cansee the reading passage, I can't easily switch the word! As an adult who stutters, and regularly speaks and does presentations, I am much more at ease with impromptu speaking. There, I don't feel confined to a script. I was one of those kids who scanned ahead to see when it would be my turn to read, and would always have an excuse. I would need to go to bathroom or the nurse. So I think this is great for kids - especially if they have not yet developed fears and self-consciousness yet! Thank you!
