Hello Kristin, this is a great approach to build reading aloud confidence in children who stutter. Moreover, it is a great way to help non-stuttering children to learn to read and ease stress and anxiety that comes with this difficult task. I volunteered a lot in my son's classroom assisting the teacher when he was in kindergarten and I wish I new about this approach back then. Thanks.
