This is a great way of getting the child to speak in front of others and feel comfortable. I think this can be a wonderful gateway into creating ease within the child so hopefully they could speak more fluently without the support of reading as well. Have you tested this to see if children feel more comfortable to speak in public after successfully doing these activities and reading fluently in public?
