I just read Tarby with my daughter who is 2 and 1/2 (not a sutterer) and she really liked the animal protagonists and the extra funny things happening in the pictures. What a wonderful idea you have executed! I am a former children's librarian, and am always interested in taking advantage of kids' natural love of stories for incidental teaching. Have you also compiled a list of existing children's books which are especially useful in teaching fluency strategies?
