I loved the idea! This book is a great way to involve fluency strategies while encorporating pragmatic skills as well. In everyday life we often get are in a rush and speak very rapidly and don’t give people enough time to finish their thoughts. This seems like a helpful way to help reduce the rate of speech while teaching techniques in pausing and phrasing. These strategies will help kids to then look at other things they may have to read and mark in their reading for presentations or class projects. It's a graet way to help many children boost their self confidence and be move active at home and in the school enviornement. My question is, what age level do you thing this would be appropriate for? Also, do you have any other types of books where their are different characters or story lines?
