Hi Crystal! What a great idea to get students involved and build their self confidence! This type of activity gives students who stutter the opportunity to be the "experts" and feel powerful and the message to their classmates is that much more powerful coming from their peers who stutter. I'm curious whether you found some students who did not feel comfortable participating or struggled to express their feelings. Also, I'm interested in working with children with special needs. Have you considered expanding the newspaper to include other populations and do you think it has the potential to have the same effect? Thanks!
