Elissa, There certainly is an improvement in self-esteem. Kids feel so good about what they've accomplished. It seems as if they've been waiting for a chance to communicate with their peers about stuttering, and this activity provides a forum to do so. I can't say that there is a direct correlation between the activity and an increase in fluency.
