Marion, Thanks for your comments. You are right...The activity works on so many levels. In addition to your observations, we, as SLPs, need to incorporate curriculum activities into therapy. By doing so, we comply with IDEA mandates, increase the effectiveness and functionality of intervention, provide more meaningful activities for studetns, and demonstrate to administrators and teachers that the SLP is a valuable member of the educational team. In response to your question, I worked in only one school when implementing this activity.
