I am a student pursuing my master’s in speech language pathology. I am clearly not an expert by any means, but I think the point you discussed about attention and sex in regards to stuttering is very interesting. Have any studies been done on stutterers with behavioral disorders in which the primary symptom is lack of attention? Is that possibly too small of a subgroup to obtain an actual study? It would be interesting to observe any neurological differences between normal stutterers and stutterers with a diagnosed attention problem (or behavioral disorder.) That was a really interesting article. Thank you for sharing.
