Dr. Corey, You’ve certainly explored the relationship between sex and an individual’s DS. To expand on that, do you think there could be a link between how boys and girls are socialized and treated during childhood and whether or not they display DS? Furthermore, do you think that the differential treatment of female and male children may contribute to the fact that male children are at a higher risk for developing DS and that there is a higher probability that female children will remit DS?
