Hello Dave To answer your question, M:F would be 4.1 in groups social etc, and would even extend to those who may have had very little therapy. Especially as I reside away from a major city. I could say that it is possible that those DS most affected by DAF could be more detrimental in some groups(although they would always be accepted). And this would be post therapy and not for the want of them trying. You would know, but others may have not have realized that DAF effects occur at the opposite end of the spectrum than you would normally imagine. Or it is not exactly progresive from fluency to stuttering one side to the other. In fact in regard to DAF a small proportion of the most severe stutterers could possibly be in the middle stacked up against the fluency gate. This I feel could be a different subgroup M:F? that over time, could appear amongst stutterers themselves. Good luck with your future research, which I feel could influence future assesment and therapy directions.
