Hi Carrie. Good question. The answer is no. I have seen no evidence of sex differences in the effects of FAF or any other manipulation on fluency in normally-fluent people. In fact, we know of no manipulations other than DAF that disrupt fluency in this way in males or females. This specificity is largely what focused my interest on DAF rather than other manipulations known to affect fluency in people who stutter.
