I rarely stutter in social situations anymore, so that aspect is mostly not a problem. Even with practice, reading aloud in class has always been the worst part. Naturally, I'm not the first person to volunteer to read a passage, but if I'm called on I always try to get through it. I normally stutter when answering a question aloud, but not to the extent I do when reading. Therefore, I try to offer my opinion more as it is less stressful practice.
