Hi David, interesting paper. I commend you for being brave and speaking in front of people not because you are a PWS but because you get in front of people and speak. I’m currently in grad school for speech-language pathology and I still find it difficult to speak in front of people. Although this is a “normal” feeling for a lot of people I can’t seem to get past it. Do you have any suggestions that have helped you? Was it the speaking in front of people or the stuttering that affected you most? I’m very interested in working with PWS, especially since many speech therapists tend to shy away from it. I have yet to have a stuttering client. Do you have any advice for a beginning clinician about to work with PWS? Are you currently in therapy? Or are you able to be your own therapist? Your outlook on your stuttering is very positive. You have ambitious goals, and I wish you the best in the future!
