I like your article, Diane. I agree that attitude is a basic aspect of stuttering and its therapy. The wrong attitude (fear, poor self-image, lack of confidence, etc.) only tends to generate and maintain stuttering, but if good attitudes can be taught and reinforced, stuttering inevitably diminishes and becomes less and less of a problem and may cease altogether. I know that's what happened to me!
