Janet...I really did not think about the word modifying having a significant meaning to kids/teens who stutter...I certainly do more fluency shaping treatment than stuttering modification treatment with children/teens. I use vocabualary that the kids/teens will understand. What matters to them is that they can "modify" an attitude/behavior/cognitive thought..just my opinion..great comment and one that I will think about in the future..:) DG
